All are invited to the next meeting of the UW Libraries Teaching & Learning Group's Book Club. Our first book selection will be Char Booth’s Reflective teaching, effective learning:instructional literacy for library educators. “Char Booth, an avid library education and technology advocate, introduces a series of concepts that will empower readers at any level of experience to become better designers and presenters, as well as building their confidence and satisfaction as library educators” (back cover).
In this meeting, we will discuss Chapter 1: Teaching Effectiveness. This chapter explores the qualities of effective teachers and how you can develop your own teaching philosophy. It is not necessary to have attended the previous meeting and snacks will be provided
