- The collections and services of the UW Built Environments Library focus on the reference, research and study of architecture, construction management, landscape architecture and urban design and planning.

Cataloging and Metadata Services
- Cataloging and Metadata Services is the Libraries' central division for the cataloging of library materials in all formats, as well as management of the catalog database. The division contributes to digital initiatives through planning, coordination, and creation of metadata.

Central Circulation Services
- Provides circulation services for Suzzallo/Allen, Reference, Curriculum, Auxiliary and Baker Auxiliary collections. Also provides Branch Delivery, Suzzallo & Allen ID Page and mail delivery, Receiving Room, mailing, shipping and shredding services.

Collection Management Services
- Collection Management Services (CMS) is where to find information on electronic resource management (including electronic resource usage statistics), collection development, and collection assessment.

Communications
- Coordinates the Libraries' communications, marketing, and publications efforts.

Digital Initiatives
- The Digital Initiatives unit coordinates digitization activities, digital repository services and consults on issues related to new and experimental scholarship activities.

Drama Library
- The Drama Library serves the UW School of Drama and the theatre community in the Puget Sound region.

East Asia Library
- The East Asia Library supports teaching and research activities on East Asian studies at the University of Washington. The collection is primarily composed of materials in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Tibetan covering all areas of the humanities and social sciences.

Engineering Library
- The Engineering Library supports the College of Engineering. The departments include: Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Human-Centered Design and Engineering (formerly Technical Communication).

- Facilities provides building, operational and support services for the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries and other branches and facilities throughout the University Libraries' system.

Financial Services
- Financial Services provides a wide range of information and services including Financial Reports & Statements, Gift Certificates, Grant-Budget Information, My Financial Desktop, Payroll Benefit Rates, eReimbursement, Procurement Cards, Resource Acquisitions, Sales & Use Tax, Travel and Wire Transfers. Purchasing & Supplies is also part of Financial Services.

- The Albert O. and Evelyn W. Foster Business Library serves the business information needs of the Foster School of Business and larger UW communities.

Friday Harbor
- The Friday Harbor Library (FHL) is located at the UW Friday Harbor Labs, on San Juan Island, WA. Subjects emphasized include ecology, developmental biology, and cell biology.

- The Gifts Program coordinates and supports the negotiation, receipt, documentation, and processing of the Libraries' non-cash gifts.

Health Sciences Library
- The Health Sciences Library (HSL) is the University of Washington's primary resource for clinical, research and teaching information in the health sciences, including the fields of medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, public health, social work, translational research, IPE and allied disciplines.

Human Resources
- Human Resources coordinates payroll, hiring, leave reporting, and offers support to current staff in navigating UW and Libraries policies.

Information Resources & Scholarly Communication
- Information Resources and Scholarly Communication (IRSC) includes three units: Collection Management Services (CMS), the Gifts Program, and Preservation. IRSC provides leadership and guidance to the Libraries on matters related to information resources, collection development and management, non-cash gifts, preservation, and scholarly communication.

Information Services
- Information Services staffs the Allen & Suzzallo Information Desks, providing front-line support and assisitance to library users. We maintain the Info Index and provide regularly scheduled and specially-requested tours and orientations to the Suzzallo & Allen Library for both on-campus and off-campus groups.

Information Technology Services
- Libraries Information Technology Services (ITS) provides support for Seattle upper-campus staff and public desktops and manages most of the Libraries' online services.

Interlibrary Loan
- Interlibrary Loan (ILL) borrows material from other institutions for use by current UW faculty, staff, and students and lends selected UW material to other institutions.

Library Account Services
- Issues borrower's cards, collects payment for library charges, manages study rooms and carrels.

Map Collection & Cartographic Information Services
- Cartographic information for the entire world at various scales and in various languages with emphasis upon materials published 1940 to present. Provides Geographic Information Services (GIS) data services.

Mathematics Research Library
- The Mathematics Research Library collects and provides reference for pure and applied mathematics and pure and applied statistics materials at the upper undergraduate level and above. We also select lower level undergraduate mathematics and statistics for OUGL.

Media Center in Suzzallo Library
- The Libraries Media Center is home to 75,000+ movie and music titles that cover a broad and interdisciplinary range of subjects, disciplines, and genres. Monographic Services Division

Music Library
- The Music Library contains over 65,000 books and scores, 45,000 recordings and other media including video tapes and computer software, and current subscriptions to approximately 300 periodicals. Subjects covered include acoustics and physics of music, ethnomusicology, jazz, music education, and the history, literature, theory and performance of music.

Odegaard Undergraduate Library
- The Odegaard Undergraduate Library and Learning Commons is an interactive center for teaching, learning and undergraduate research. Odegaard houses the UW Libraries Media Center, primary reserves for non-health sciences subjects, a writing center, a video conference center, a presentation studio, and the Learning Commons (a 360-seat computing lab, Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology, collaboration studios, and the Digital Audio Workstation).

Research & Instructional Services
- Research and Instructional Services (RIS) promotes the educational, research, and service missions of the University by providing support to our faculty, students, and staff, as well as to researchers from the state, the country and around the world. Divisions within RIS include: Access Services, Branch Libraries, the Odegaard Undergraduate Library, and Reference and Research Services.

Serials Services Division
- Through June 30, 2012, Serials Services is the Libraries' central department for the acquisition, processing and cataloging of serials in all formats. Serials Services is also responsible for binding/marking of all library materials. The Division provides resources, standards and guidelines for serials processing across the Libraries.

Special Collections
- The Special Collections Division of the University of Washington Libraries manages a wide variety of library materials which require special handling, or which are unique and irreplaceable. All materials must be used in the Special Collections Reading Room.

UW Bothell Library
- The UW Bothell Library supports and enhances teaching, learning, and research at UWB and CCC through the provision of information services and resources. As a unit of the University of Washington Libraries we acquire and manage material and virtual resources, and promote the creation and use of knowledge in an atmosphere where information and ideas are readily accessible and freely exchanged.

- The University of Washington Tacoma Library establishes and maintains a critical role in the educational processes of our students, staff, faculty, and community members. As part of the University of Washington Libraries, we contribute to academic achievement by providing resources and services that augment the teaching, learning and research at UW Tacoma.
